ARQ’s beautiful fitness center is defined by thoughtful design, modern architecture, and abundant natural light. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the space, bringing the outdoors in and opening up wide views across the surrounding city. Tall ceilings and long sightlines make the room feel open, calm, and never reliant on artificial lighting alone. It's a wellness space designed to motivate.

The cardio area features a full lineup of premium-quality treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, many positioned along the windows so workouts stay connected to open skyline views. The gym's strength side is fully equipped with selectorized machines, free weights, benches, cable systems, and functional training zones, all arranged with generous circulation space between stations.

Mirrored walls and layered lighting keep the room practical and clear. Nearby, a dedicated locker and transition area makes it easy to move between workouts and the rest of the building.

ARQ also offers spin and yoga studios, as well as Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and a rooftop spa terrace, giving residents more ways to vary their routine and take advantage of the building’s indoor–outdoor design.

Take it Outside

When you’re looking to trade the treadmill for fresh air, ARQ’s location connects you to some great urban trail networks and parklands. Situated directly across the street from the La Cienega/Jefferson E Line station, you have immediate, car-free access to the entire city.

On weekends and holidays, you can hop on "The Link" Baldwin Hills Parklands shuttle bus right outside your front door for a quick 25¢ ride directly to both the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area.

• Direct Beach Access via the E Line: Skip the I-10 traffic and beach parking fees. You can hop on the train right across the street and take a smooth ride straight to the Downtown Santa Monica terminus—dropping you just three short blocks from the sand and the Santa Monica Pier. Pro Tip: Bring your bicycle on board to easily transition from the train directly onto the famous Marvin Braude beachfront bike path for a scenic ride down to Venice Beach.
• The Park to Playa Trail: For the ultimate outdoor adventure, hop onto this groundbreaking 13-mile contiguous regional trail system. It seamlessly connects a network of parks and open spaces—including Kenneth Hahn and the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook—allowing you to hike or bike from the hills all the way down to the Pacific Ocean.
• Expo Line Bike Path: Located right outside your door, this flat, paved, multi-use path stretches across the Westside. It’s perfect for a streamlined morning run, a casual evening walk, or a traffic-free bike ride into Culver City and Santa Monica.
• Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook & Culver City Stairs: Just minutes away, this outdoor fitness staple offers a serious lower-body workout. Choose the dramatic, steep outdoor stone staircase for a high-intensity cardio burn, or opt for the winding switchback trails. Either way, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic, 360-degree views of the entire LA basin.
• Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area: A sprawling urban oasis offering miles of scenic, ridge-top hiking trails, lush picnic lawns, and a peaceful lotus pond. It’s one of the best spots in the city to catch stunning views of the Downtown LA skyline framed by the San Gabriel Mountains.
• Ballona Creek Bike Path: Easily accessible from the neighborhood, this dedicated, car-free path shadows the water for over 7 miles. It offers a flat, uninterrupted route ideal for long-distance runners and cyclists heading straight out to Marina del Rey and the beach.
